Purna Sadola had been working as a watchman at Faisal One Building on King Faisal Road here for the past six months.
Sharjah Police said that they received a call at 6am yesterday from one Bikram, another watchman of the same building, informing them about the bodies.
Officials from Al Garb police station, Anjad patrol and Forensic Laboratory rushed to the building where they found Purna Sadola hanging from the ceiling of his room and his uncle, identified as Pichara Sadola, lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
The police are currently interrogating their relatives who live in the same building.
The Forensic Laboratory is conducting autopsy on the bodies.
According to the police, Bikram found the bodies when he went to call Purna to hand over duty to the latter. He told Khaleej Times, "All three of us had dinner together that fateful night.
At that time, everything seemed fine between the two and there were no arguments.
In fact, Purna regularly used to telephone his uncle asking him to join him for dinner."
