NBAD bags best Personal Loan Award in the Middle East

ABU DHABI - National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) was awarded yesterday NBAD's best Personal Loan Award in the Middle East. "We are delighted that NBAD has been awarded Banker Middle East Product Awards" said Michael Tomalin, NBAD's Chief Executive.

Tomalin thanked the award authority for this honour, adding that NBAD looks forward to pursuing the ideals of the award by continuing to provide the highest standard of services.

He added that NBAD has won numerous awards such as UAE Banks Corporate Governance Award in 2008, the Middle East Excellence Award 2008, the Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award 2007, the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, Dubai Quality Award, �Best Bank in UAE' from Euromoney and Banker publications, �Human Resources Development Award' from the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, the �Middle East e-Banking Country Award', the �Outstanding use of IT in Financial Services Award, and excellence award for �Best use of Technology' from Banker Middle East.

The winners of Banker Middle East Product Awards are selected through a process of review, assessment, and public participation. Firstly, a panel of judges nominates those banks they feel have shown outstanding improvements and success over the past 12 months. Secondly, short-listed institutions will be asked to submit written entries for each product they feel deserves recognition. Finally, winners will be selected by the readers of Banker Middle East.
