Narrow escape for truck driver
SHARJAH — A 45-year-old Indian heavy truck driver had a narrow escape when his truck caught fire after colliding with a stationary truck near Al Thiqa Club on Sharjah Ring Road.
The driver, identified as R.K., managed to jump out of the truck, but the truck was completely gutted.
As a result of the accident, traffic on Dubai-Sharjah road was disrupted for at least three hours.
