Narrow Escape for Emirati Family from Inferno
FUJAIRAH - An Emirati family had a narrow escape after a man from one of the GCC countries set fire to their house in the Sheria area in Fujairah around 3am on Friday.
The blaze destroyed all the furniture in the house.
The neighbours were reported as saying that they had seen a person lifting a jerry can from his car and heading towards the house.
The can apparently contained inflammable material.
When questioned by the police, the house owner admitted that hehad financialdisputes and suspected that a man from a GCC country could have set off the fire. On the basis of the description provided by him, the suspect was arrested andreferred to the Public Prosecution for further interrogation.
