NAM can solve issues in the region, says UAQ ruler
His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, asserted that the NAM countries have the elements of action and cooperation to solve many of the problems experienced by the region.
He said that the UAE believes the principles of the Non-Aligned Movement, if respected and applied by everyone, will contribute to the betterment and consolidation of relations between the countries to resolve all pending issues and disputes existing among them.
In a press statement made shortly before leaving Tehran after heading the UAE delegation at the Non-Aligned summit in Iran, Shaikh Saud said that if a sincere and constructive cooperation is developed among the member states, it will bring them great gains through stability, which will provide security and progress in various fields.
