Nahyan lauds DMC students

DUBAI — Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chancellor of Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), has praised the students of Dubai Men's College for their achievements in the fields of communication and technology.

Touring the premises on the open day of the institution yesterday, Shaikh Nahyan expressed satisfaction on the progress made in the various academic fields by the students. In particular, he praised the in-house HCT television channel run by the students.

His interview aired live by the television channel as part of the DMC open day.

Commenting on the open day, Dr Bill Vega, Director of DMC, said: “The aim of the open day is to highlight the excellent work of our students and showcase it to the community and leaders of the industry where these students can contribute to the success of organisations and companies.”
