Outstanding students in social, cultural and sports activities during the school year 2007-2008 will be nominated to showcase their talent.

Students will compete in 24 categories, including memorising and reciting the Holy Quran, Islamic thought research, ‘No Smoking Please Festival’ and students camps, among many others.

In all, 350 knights will be selected to join a training camp on shooting, swimming and horse riding pursuant to the guidance embodied in the ‘My Vision’ book of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The training camp is scheduled to last for 45 days during the summer vacation in June 2008. The magnificent seven knights of My Vision, who will be chosen from the 350 students, will be honoured along with their colleagues at a special closing ceremony in September 2008.

It will be attended by Shaikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the UAE golden shooter Shaikh Ahmed Mohammed Hasher Al Maktoum, winner of the Athens Gold Medal 2004.
