The agreement was signed by Dr Ali bin Obood, general manager of the Ministry of Governmental Sector Development, and Feddah Lootah, acting general manager of Tanmia office in Dubai, in the presence of Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, the Minister of Governmental Sector Development and Dr Ali Al Kaabi, the Minister of Labour. As per the MoU, Tanmia will extend its total support to the Ministry by developing strategies and policies that will maximise job opportunities for nationals in government departments across the country. Tanmia will provide the Ministry with access to its database of registered jobseekers, which will enable the latter to choose the most suitable candidates for the available government jobs and provide them with the required training.

Talking about the MoU, Al Mansouri said: “Increasing the opportunities for UAE nationals to gain employment in the government sector is a top priority in our strategic plans. Furthermore, it’s a key component in the quest to achieve excellence in the procedures of all federal government sector bodies. To this end, we will utilise all resources to attract more nationals to the government sector.”

Dr Al Kaabi said, “Tanmia and the Ministry of Governmental Sector Development share common goals with regard to the development of national human resources. This agreement with the Ministry will open up new avenues of employment for UAE nationals in the federal government departments. In the coming months, Tanmia and the Ministry will work together to provide training to the jobseekers registered in our database, which will help them hone their skills required to efficiently handle the challenges and responsibilities at the workplace.”
