The former all-rounder has returned to cricket during the past year after a horrific car crash at the end of 2022
An order to this effect was issued by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Auqaf (Endowments) in Abu Dhabi yesterday.
The order aims to protect worshippers from excessive heat, said Dr Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Director-General of the Authority. It is also designed to save electricity as it is mandatory for all mosques to switch off ACs and lights after offering Fajr (dawn) prayers, he said.
Meanwhile, Dr Hamdan Al Mazroui, Chairman of the Authority, held the monthly meeting with directors of the departments and offices of the authority nationwide and called them to modify the action plans in accordance with the new federal government strategy.
