Morgue gives Syrian’s body to Iraqi family by mistake!

The Iraqi family was handed over the body of a Syrian, and mercifully, the mistake was discovered while the body was being taken to the Abu Dhabi airport to be flown to Iraq.

The mistake was rectified soon after the officials discovered that the body of the Syrian was not at the morgue and rushed to make amends by informing the Iraqi family. The Syrian family did not make much ado of the plight as they were too crestfallen with the death of the breadwinner of the family, sources at the hospital said.

The embassy officials stepped in later to complete the formalities, while the health department officials said that more stringent procedures would be in place henceforth, to ensure that such mistakes do not recur.
