More doctors added to Saqr Hospital emergency section
RAS AL KHAIMAH — A special team of doctors has been added to the workforce at the Casualty and Emergency section of Saqr Hospital during evening hours, in view of the increasing number of emergency cases, a senor official from RAK Department of Health said recently.
This came after scores of residents lodged complaints with Department of Health about the heavy rush of patients at the section of this major government hospital in the emirate. They complained that the emergency patients had to wait several hours before they were attended to.
Abdullah Al Shahin, Director of the Health Department, did not disclose the number of doctors added to the section but said more doctors and nurses would be there to attend to the emergency cases.
