Monitoring of school canteens intensified
DUBAI — The School Health Section at the Primary Health Care (PHC) Department of the Dubai Department of Health and Medical Services (Dohms) has intensified its monitoring and inspection of school canteens and the general school environment.
Dr. Al Jeeli Qirshi, incharge of school health at the PHC Department, said that the steps taken by the school health section with regards to private school canteens is two pronged, the first is to monitor and control, the second is preventive in nature.
