MoL to attend Brussels immigration forum

ABU DHABI —The Ministry of Labour (MoL) will participate in the second preparatory meeting of the International Forum of Immigration and Development that would be held in Brussels this year.

The Minister of Labour, Dr Ali bin Abdullah Al Kaabi, will head the UAE delegation at the forum from July 9 to July 11.

“The United Nations Secretary-General Ban-Ki moon and representatives of 122 states will attend the forum that aims at discussing the issues concerning the temporary immigrations around the globe,” said Mohammad Al Zaabi, Director of the International Relations at the MoL.

The forum will include three round-tables. The first would discuss developing the human capital that will aim to increase the job opportunities and reduce businesses risks.

The second round -table will focus on the financial transactions of the labourers and on increasing them.

The third round-table will enhance the links between the organisations, policies, systems and partnerships.
