Mohammed to pay for Umrah of 50 journalists

DUBAI — Fifty male and female journalists from the UAE Press Association will be performing Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan at the expense of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The grant is part of Shaikh Mohammed's ongoing material and moral support to journalists based on his appreciation of the significance of the role they play for the UAE.

Chairman of the UAE Press Association Mohammed Yousef thanked Shaikh Mohammed for his generous gesture and said it would have positive impact on journalists.
