Mohammed Bin Zayed receives military officers, security officials

ABU DHABI -- General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces received at his Batin Palace today, a delegation consisting of officials from the defence ministry, commanders and Heads of various units of the armed forces and senior officials from the Ministry of Interior, security agencies, the General Authority for Emergency and Crises, the Higher National Security Council and the Critical National Infrastructure Authority (CNIA).

The delegation had called on Sheikh Mohammed to offer greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

Receiving the greetings in the presence of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, Sheikh Mohammed praised the sincere efforts and active roles performed by the military and national security agencies in maintaining the security and stability of the homeland and in preserving its achievements.

Sheikh Mohammed stressed the importance of exerting more efforts and urged them continue to fulfill their national duty in accordance with a coordinated and joint methodology of work and team spirit that puts the interest, security and stability of the nation above all. This, he said, will enhance the cultural gains and achieve the aspirations of its citizens leading the nation towards a better future.

He also asserted that the country’s leadership headed by President H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, puts the issue of giving support to these national institutions among the top priorities of the nation.
