Mohammad to fund Umrah trip for 35 journalists during Ramadan
DUBAI — Thirty-five members of the Emirates Journalists Association (EJA) will perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan. The trip will be funded by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence.
Gen. Shaikh Mohammed’s gesture is part of his financial and spiritual support for the media out of his conviction in the vital role of the industry in the service of the community.
EJA Chairman Mohammed Yusouf thanked Gen. Shaikh Mohammed’s initiative saying it would have positive impact on the members of the industry.
