MoH urges regular diabetes tests
DUBAI — The Ministry of Health has urged nationals and expatriates to go for regular diabetes tests, saying early diagnosis is vital to cure the disease in early stages.
In a meeting held here yesterday the ministry also warned against unhealthy lifestyles.
“It is extremely important for people to undergo regular diabetes tests because early diagnosis could lead to early intervention and cure before any complications could develop. it is also important for people to adopt healthy dietary habits aimed at avoiding obesity’, the ministry said.
