Minister offers to help UAQ accident girl
DUBAI — The Minister of Education, Dr Hanif Hassan, called up the Khaleej Times reporter, to enquire about the contact details of the father of the girl, who was hit by a Land Cruiser on Monday last.
KT had carried the story about the incident on February 14.
The 11-year-old girl, Rawnaa Mahmoud Hussein, is fighting for her life after sustaining critical injuries in the mishap. She was on way to board her school bus when she was hit and dragged to some distance by a speeding Land Cruiser in front of the Umm Al Quwain Hospital.
She has been in a coma since the fateful day.
The minister then called up the girl's father and assured all possible help.
