It's the time of year when students visit the universities they may attend in the autumn, and Middlesex University Dubai is unveiling a myriad of benefits and opportunities undergraduates will encounter as they embark on the next step of their educational journey.
Prospective students can avail a wide variety of programmes spanning business, accounting and finance, art and design, science and technology, health and education, law, media, fashion and more, plus a unique and exciting student experience, student accommodation, a simplified student visa process, end-to-end career support, the option to work during study, flexible payment plans, and a wealth of networking opportunities through the university's strong industry links.

As part of its School Partnership Programme, Middlesex University Dubai has a number of benefits for students from partner schools across all curriculums within the UAE. These include guaranteed admissions/interviews for students who meet the minimum entry criteria for their chosen programme, a Schools Progression Grant awarded to students enrolling on to one of the undergraduate programmes, access to a number of Academic Excellence Scholarship grants and invitations to taster sessions, guest lectures, bespoke presentations and workshops.

As well as having all the advantages associated with being a British university, Dubai campus students can benefit from all the opportunities afforded by a rapidly developing modern city in the heart of the Middle East, while experiencing the diverse nationalities and cultures that make up the population of Dubai.

While the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic is causing international travel bans and the worldwide closure of campuses, Middlesex University Dubai is ensuring that prospective students get a chance to study locally for international degrees by offering the option of transferring to Middlesex University's home campus in London in September 2021.

Prospective students can receive a fully immersive sense of their future educational experiences, through a range of virtual open days held throughout June and July, in addition to a virtual admissions consultation and a virtual parents Q&A session. The virtual tour will allow prospective students a glimpse of the experiences they will enjoy - and take a sneak-peek around the university's state-of-the-art facilities, including the Icon Studio, Graphic Design Labs, MDX Film Lab, Robotics Lab, Study Lounges and HUB19 - featuring a music room, dance studio, student lounge and gaming room. All applicants can also interact with faculty through a range of communication channels, including WhatsApp, phone, e-mail, live chat, and social media.

Dr Cedwyn Fernandes, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Director of Middlesex University Dubai, said: "Choosing the right university is a crucial step in a student's career path, and for prospective students, understanding the educational journey that lies ahead is critical in picking the university that will help them in the next step of their academic journey.
"We understand this is one of the most important decisions they will make and we want to support all our prospective students to make the right choice. Via our virtual experiences, our faculty are on-hand to answers questions from parents and students and our platform allows students to meet with university representatives and engage in one-on-one conversations."

The Director added that investing in a degree at Middlesex University Dubai will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to fast-track your career, facilitated by a team dedicated to the provision of your learning experience to ensure it is truly exceptional. "This is delivered in a multicultural environment, connecting students from different backgrounds, which enhances the overall academic experience."

Given its outstanding technological infrastructure for smart learning, Middlesex University Dubai was able to transition quickly to online learning. The university adapted rapidly to the change in learning models while carefully crafting a home learning strategy to ensure all students would continue receiving high quality education.

Middlesex University Dubai is the first overseas campus of the internationally renowned Middlesex University in London. The campus, which opened in January 2005, has over 3,500 students from more than 100 nationalities and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a wide variety of subject areas; it is the first and only university to offer a face-to-face LLB (British Qualifying Law) Degree.
