She is currently in Abu Dhabi as part of her Middle East trip that includes Oman, Al Ain, Dubai and will later this week proceed to Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Bhanumati, who has been practising meditation for more than 25 years, has travelled worldwide spreading the message of world peace and harmony through meditation and music. She is also involved in many social projects in India for the upliftment of rural women.

"Self-development of a handful of individuals will not make the world a better and safer place to live. The aim of the Art of Living Foundation is to offer the world the fruits of our great Guruji's wisdom, that will change their life for good," she said in an interview with Khaleej Times.

Presently Art of Living is pursuing its activities in 147 countries including relief operations in Iraq, Iran, Luthania and Afghanistan.
