The Harvard Medical School Dubai Centre (HMSDC) Institute for Postgraduate Education and Research and Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) will present its Tamayoz Awards for excellence in clinical care and medical research at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai tomorrow.

Dr Muhadditha Al Hashimi, CEO of DHCC a member of Tatweer, said: “The who’s who of the industry will be there to support the young professionals who have contributed to raising the bar on healthcare services through their outstanding work.”

She said the awards were in tune with DHCC’s fundamental commitment to quality and excellence.

“DHCC will continue to come up with initiatives on its own or in partnership with other leading institutions to promote excellence in this sector,” she added.

The HMSDC Tamayoz Awards invited applications from healthcare workers and professionals for recognition in the three main categories: The Trainee Award, the Young Physician Award and the Nursing and Healthcare Professional Award. All nominees were required to be less than 40 years of age.

The winners, in addition to being recognised for outstanding accomplishments, will each receive a one-month observership at a Harvard-affiliated hospital or laboratory in Boston, Massachusetts.
