Meat products in capital safe for consumption
ABU DHABI — The mutton and chicken foodstuff available in the emirate of Abu Dhabi are safe for consumption.
Mohammed Jalal Al Reyaysa, manager of communication and information department, at the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority’s (ADFCA), said, “Our inspectors regularly inspect the market to ensure the quality safety of the mutton and chicken products.”
“We minutely check the market places and will not allow the entry of infected foodstuff from countries which have reported cases of bird flu in the recent past,” he further added.
