Z.S., 35, on bail, is charged with threatening his wife, M.A.,, who is living separately, through emails sent to her father and her sister and spreading offensive rumours about her. He also allegedly threatened that he would post her nude photos on the Internet.

The woman's father, a Saudi Arabian university teacher, had testified that he had received on his email address messages from his former son-in-law, threatening his daughter with circulating her personal and intimate photos among her friends and her father's colleagues in Saudi Arabia.

He attached two of her photographs with the emails he sent. The court is expected to pronounce its verdict after the next hearing.
