Man jailed for issuing dud cheque
DUBAI — The Dubai Court yesterday sentenced an Iranian national Hassan Safr Delaili to two months in jail in a cheque bouncing case. He had been accused of issuing a dud cheque of Dh90,000 to Mohammed Ali Abu Al Hassan.
Court records showed that the two litigants used to be partners in one of the car accessory companies here. Having had disagreements, Mohammed asked for his share. Hassan gave him a cheque, which bounced.
