Man drowns in RAK
RAS AL KHAIMAH — A 25-year-old Pakistani national drowned while swimming in a water-filled ditch in the southern area of Al Shooka in Ras Al Khaimah on Friday evening.
A senior officer from the RAK Police said the deceased, whose name was not disclosed, was on a trip to the place, where there is a ditch constructed to store water for the far-flung areas of the southern emirate, with two compatriots.
