Dubai Outlet Mall

At Dubai Outlet Mall, visitors and shoppers have the unique opportunity to make a difference by participating in a noble cause from the first day of Ramadan until the end of Eid Al Fitr holidays.

Joining helping hands with charitable organisations throughout the UAE to raise the spirit of sharing and caring during the holy month of Ramadan, the mall is showcasing self-made paintings, handmade boxes and embroidered Abayas made by special needs kids of Rashid Paediatric Centre.

In its fifth successive year during the holy month of Ramadan, the Dubai Outlet Mall annual charity is giving opportunity to any shopper to enter the Raffle Draw to win Umrah trips.

To support the UAE Red Crescent, the mall visitors can donate clothes and shoes, books, stationary and school books, toys, computers and electronics, personal hygiene products, medicine and non-perishable foods like canned or dried food, sugar, rice, etc (with a validity of at least six months), and more.

The charity collection box for donations is conveniently located inside the mall. All donations are being picked up on weekly basis by UAE Red Crescent and distributed to those in dire need.

Arabian Centre

Arabian Centre is celebrating Ramadan with ‘Donate Your Clothes’ campaign and by a tie-up initiative with the UAE Red Crescent.

In the ‘Donate Your Clothes’ campaign, Arabian Centre urges people to come and donate whatever they can, like clothes, in the three acrylic boxes that will be placed at the three mall entrances – Morning Court, Noon Court and Night Court. Towards the end of Ramadan, all the collection will be donated to the needy and the less fortunate people.

Arabian Centre has a booth placed in the Night Court of the mall, manned by Red Crescent Society members for customers to donate money or food, clothing and others. Available at the booth are various coupons, and depending on the donors’ preference they can help the needy by paying for those coupons.

A blood donation campaign has also been initiated by Arabian Centre with DP World in conjunction with Dubai Health Authority, which will provide mobile vans outside the mall for people to donate blood. The blood donated at this camp will be sent to blood donation centres in Dubai. The blood donation camp will take place between 8.30pm to 12.30am.

Lamcy Plaza

Lamcy Plaza celebrates Ramadan with its alms-giving ‘Tree of Life’ campaign, held in cooperation with the Red Crescent Society. The campaign that started on the first day of Ramadan and would go on for the whole month, will see the Red Crescent organise a booth in the Atrium area on the ground floor of Lamcy Plaza with one of its members present to help and guide the customers.

Customers can donate money at the booth in the form of food or clothing for the orphanage and others. After making the donation at the Red Crescent Donation Booth, the shoppers will light a lantern and hang it at the tree placed next to the donation booth called ‘Tree of Life’.

Lamcy Plaza has also joined hands with DP World and Dubai Health Authority in the blood donation campaign.

Mega Mall

Back to Sharjah, Mega Mall celebrates Ramadan with fun-filled activities and promotions, free health check by the Ministry of Health and traditional yet contemporary decorative items adorn the mall showing the splendour of the Arab culture.

Delectable treats such as succulent dates, refreshing cup of Gahwa are available while ladies can get their hands painted with attractive Henna tattoos in the Water Court tent.

Shoppers can head to the huge Garden Court tent divided into separate zones to get engrossed with exciting Ramadan events. A variety of activities including face painting, arts and craft beckon kids.

Shoppers will also get a chance to win one of the 2 MINI Coopers for spending Dh200 at any of the store from July 10 to August 10, 2013.
