Malayalam film actor-director Sreenivasan hospitalised

Kochi - The actor is under observation in the ICU and his condition is stable.

Noted Malayalam actor and director Sreenivasan has been admitted to a hospital in Kerala late on Tuesday night, sources said.
A spokesperson of the hospital here said the 61-year-old actor was brought to the hospital last night after he suffered a stroke. Later his son Vineeth Sreenivasan took to Facebook saying that his father only had a variation in blood sugar levels.

"My father was admitted to the hospital following a variation in blood sugar levels. The doctor has recommended staying in the hospital tonight and discharging him tomorrow. I request everyone not to spread baseless news. Thanks everyone," Vineeth posted on Facebook.
He is under observation in the ICU and his condition is stable, the spokesperson said.

Sreenivasan is also an acclaimed screenwriter, filmmaker, and producer of Malayalam cinema.
