Maktoum issues 3 decrees
DUBAI — His Highness Shaikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued three decrees in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai.
In the first decree, Shaikh Maktoum appointed Ahmed Saeed Salim bin Hazeem Al Suweidi as Director of Dubai Courts. Shaikh Maktoum issued another decree, seconding Abdul Latif Mohammed Al Jasmi to the Higher Institute of Legal Sciences as Director of the institute for three years. He is to retain his current grade. In the third decree, Shaikh Maktoum appointed Dr Mufleh Awaad Mufleh as the Dean of the Higher Institute of Legal and Judicial Sciences in Dubai. Shaikh Maktoum further issued a decree, forming the board of directors of the institute, which will consist of Essam Issa Al Himeidan as President with Dr Ahmed Saeed Salim bin Hazeem, Abdul Latif Al Jasmi, Dr Loway Mohammed Khalfan Balhoul and Abdul Moneim Salim bin Suweidan as members.
The decrees will take effect from December 28 and shall be published in the official gazette.
