Maktoum and Mohammed receive citizens
DUBAI - His Highness Shaikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in the presence of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, received at Zabeel Palace here last night a large number of dignitaries, including senior citizens, economic personalities and heads of local departments and institutions, who came to greet them on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
They wished the UAE more progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of national issues concerning living conditions and job opportunities for UAE nationals, especially in the private sector.
Gen. Shaikh Mohammed expressed his confidence in the role of the private sector. He expressed hope that there would be more cooperation between the private and public sectors.
Shaikh Maktoum thanked the visitors for their efforts and contributions towards building a strong national economy and cooperation with the government.
