Dubai’s Blue Mosque is a superbly designed and unique edifice and quite outstanding in its architecture. Sharjah, for example, has 600 mosques, prominent among them are Al Noor Mosque at the Buheira Corniche and the mosque at Qanat Al Qasba. In Fujairah, there is the Badiya Mosque, the oldest functioning house of worship in the country.

Another magnificent structure is the Khorfakkan mosque. Aside from these well known mosques, there are many beautifully designed mosques in residential areas within walking distance of any resident.
