Dubai - A UAE-based yoga practitioner-cum-instructor is attempting to create a Guinness World Record in the longest headstand (Shirshasan) on Sunday, the first International Yoga Day.
Ivan Stanley, who has been living in the UAE since 2000, is trying to break the existing record in the headstand for 34 minutes at a stunt planned at The Palladium, Cluster C, of Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai.
Stanley is gearing up to perform the shirshasan for 40 to 60 minutes from 9am, according to a Press release.
“We are already in touch with Guinness Records — global and Dubai offices,” said the release.
