DIFF 2009 is partnering with Rotana, the Arabic digital music and television gateway; Dubai Studio City, which offers a complete technical and community infrastructure for industry growth; and Moet Chandon, the French luxury lifestyle provider, as Gala Sponsors bringing in strong affiliations that will further add to the appeal of the galas to be held until December 16.
DIFF’s Director of Marketing and Sponsorship Mahsa Motamedi said that galas are the highlight of the film festival bringing together the movers and shakers of the society with celebrities from around the world.
“The thrill of watching a world premiere, the red carpet walks, the media buzz and the sheer excitement associated with the DIFF galas are unmatched. To drive this forward, this year, we have three great partners, who will bring their unique brand identity to the event,” she said.
Now in its sixth year, DIFF 2009 is held in association with Dubai Studio City, and will be held from December 9 to 16. Dubai Duty Free, Dubai Pearl, Emirates Airline and Madinat Jumeirah are the principal sponsors of DIFF, and the event is supported by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture).
