The topic of the research contest was ‘Satellite TVs and Culture of Generations,’ which focused on three angles such as satellite TVs and their impact on the youth of the UAE, negative and positive sides of Arab satellite TVs and the children’s satellite TVs —entertainment and acquiring knowledge.

The competitions were held for children in the age group of 8-12, except for painting competitions, in which the age categories were 6-9 and 10-12.

The topic of the contests in the knowledge field was ‘culture’ and in the literature and art categories it was ‘Children of Palestine and Iraq.’

An honouring ceremony will be held on February 28 at Dubai Municipality Employees Club in which prizes will be distributed to the winners.
