Leaders receive cables of thanks
ABU DHABI - The President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, has received cables from President Jacques Chirac of France and President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom of Maldives, thanking him for the cables Shaikh Zayed had sent to both the leaders on the occasion of their countries' national days. His Highness Shaikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received similar cables from Mr Chirac and Mr Gayoom.
