Latest software for UAEU

DUBAI — Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) has agreed to provide UAE University in Al Ain with the latest educational software for the design and verification of integrated chips.

The partnership was signed on Tuesday by the Director-General of DSO, Dr Mohammed Al Zarouni, and the Vice-Chancellor of UAE University, Dr Hadef Al Dhaheri.

“The deal is in line with the government’s policy to create and develop a knowledge-based society by introducing advanced technology programmes into college curriculums,” Dr Al Zarouni said. “Our plan is to associate and link up fresh science graduates with experts in the field of hi-tech industry.” Dr Al Dhaheri said: “We understand the need to develop high-tech industry in the UAE; and being one of the leading UAE educational institutions, we shall work together with other projects to ensure the sustainability of growth and development.”
