“One of the missions of the Dubai Land Department is to make Dubai the best place to live in the world, not only with regard to the physical infrastructure but also with the right mindset and attitude of the people making Dubai an ideal place to raise a family,” Abdul Aziz Harib Al Muhairi, head of community service at the Dubai Land Department, said.

“In this way, we are developing our community towards a progressive society. There is a plan to conduct such lectures all year round, and topics will be selected based on the feedback from the community,” he said at the conclusion of the Mind’s Pleasure series of lectures organised by the Land Department every Friday at the Dubai World Trade Centre from July 22 to August 26, as part of the DSS.

These lectures, whose audience has been increasing every year, were conducted in Arabic starting six years ago. Since last year, the Dubai Land Department also organised the seminars in English. The subject of the lectures included a variety of topics such as how to improve family relations, inter-cultural awareness and how to improve memory.

“We want to make Dubai a good place to be successful. We want to offer useful suggestions to the residents of Dubai,” Muhairi said.

The lectures were organised by Rightrack headed by Ms Rupa Vinod while speakers were brought in by Knowledge Brokers.
