Um Saeed said she decided to present the bouquets as a token of appreciation for the sacrifices made by policemen while discharging their duties.

She said she valued the efforts made by the police to stay close with all segments of society and the help they provided when required under any condition.

Major Abdullah Al Hosani, Head of Internal Patrols at the Capital Police, expressed gratitude to the woman's humanitarian gesture. "This is a noble gesture and nice way of expressing appreciation. Such gestures work as incentive for policemen to show more dedication while carrying out their duty," he said.
