Labourer Commits Suicide in Sharjah
SHARJAH - An Indian labourer in his thirties committed suicide by jumping from the fourth-floor balcony of his home in a six-storey building located on Jamal Abdul Nasser Road during late hours of Sunday.
According to a Sharjah Police official, the Operations room received a call around 10.30pm informing them that a body had been found near the building.
“As soon as we were notified about the accident, Anjad patrols immediately rushed to the building and took the body to the forensic laboratory to find out the main cause of his death. A team from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) checked the flat the deceased was sharing with other bachelors, who were also interrogated,” said the official.
The official confirmed that there were no signs of violence or any foul play involved.
