Kuwait's Ministry of Interior announced early Saturday the capturing of 12 convicts of the terror group known as 'Al Abdali cell', who went missing last month.
According to the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, a ministry statement said that the convicts were apprehended across various areas of the country and that the search is going on for two more individuals.
In September 2015, the public prosecutor indicted a number of individuals for acts that threatened national security and unity, KUNA added.
The defendants were accused of providing intelligence to Iran and Hezbollah, as well as housing weapons, ammunition and communication devices, the agency concluded.
