Kids benefit from summer heritage camps

DUBAI — Watani Programme’s series of summer heritage camps concluded this week with the final camp being held at Musharief Modern School in Ajman.

The initiative had brought children between the ages of 7 to 16 years together, for a variety of educational and entertaining activities.

The camps, which were held across the UAE, had been designed to teach children teamwork, local values and tradition. The programme also included teaching of traditional arts and crafts, cooking, painting, and visits to museums, the Dubai Centre for Special Needs, old age homes and other landmarks.
