Khalifa's support to women praised
ABU DHABI — Girls in the UAE have excelled in many fields in a record time, thanks to the great support lent by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the advancement of women, according to Shaikha Latifa bint Khalifa Al Nahyan.
“The President has exhibited his keenness to remove all obstacles hindering the progress of women for attaining a prominent position in the local community and engaging in the overall development of the nation,” she said during a passing-out ceremony held by the Mireraijeb School for Girls in Al Ain.
Shaikha Latifa called on a batch of 350 secondary school graduates to equip themselves with science and a persistent desire to pursue higher education.
