Khalifa's help to Iraqis praised

ABU DHABI — Dr Abdulellah Naji Al Jumaili, cultural adviser to the Iraqi embassy in UAE, praised the humanitarian initiatives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan towards the Iraqi people.

This was conveyed during a meeting between Dr Saleh Mousa Al Taee, Acting Secretary-General of Red Crescent, and Dr. Al Jumaili.

He also stressed the importance of efforts made by the Red Crescent Society, led by Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Red Crescent, in support of the Iraqis.

Al Jumaili conveyed the gratitude and appreciation of the Iraqi community towards Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed.

The meeting discussed Red Crescent's efforts to provide medical and healthcare to the Iraqis, especially children.

Al Jumaili expressed appreciation for the initiative to bring wounded Iraqis from different governorates of Iraq for treatment in the UAE.
