The scholars said Ramadan should be utilised since it is the holy month where rewards for worshipping and good deeds are doubled. One of its nights, they said, is Lailat Al Qadr, which is better than 1,000 months. They lauded the importance attached by the UAE leadership to religion and mosques, as well as the country’s unlimited support to the needy people all over the world, regardless of their faith, ethnicity and colour.

They prayed to Almighty Allah to bless Shaikh Khalifa; His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates; and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, with good health.

They also paid their respects to the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
