Khalifa wishes progress for Kazakhstan

ASTANA — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, yesterday went on a tour of Astana where he visited the Presidential Cultural Centre which chronicles stages of development in Kazakhstan. Shaikh Khalifa, in the comments in the visitorsbook, said he was impressed with contents on display at the centre.

He also praised the achievements made by the people of Kazakhstan throughout the country’s history.

Shaikh Khalifa then headed to the Palace of Peace where he was received by President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan.

The two leaders then visited the People’s Square and reviewed models for the upcoming developments in the Kazakh capital. Shaikh Khalifa said such projects would contribute to the development of prosperity of Kazakhstan. He wished the country further progress under the leadership of President Nazarbayev. Shaikh Khalifa was accompanied during his tour by members of his delegation and by Sauat Mynbayev, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
