Khalifa stresses need to boost G-77 cooperation
DOHA - The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, arrived in Doha yesterday to attend the second summit of the Group of 77 (G-77) countries opening in Doha today. He was received by the Qatari State Ministers Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani and Shaikh Mohammed bin Eid Al Thani, Abdul Ridha Abdullah Khouri, UAE Ambassador to Qatar, and Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Othman, Qatari Ambassador.
In a Press statement released upon his arrival, Shaikh Khalifa said that the holding of the summit necessitates the need for developing new strategies to boost cooperation among the G-77 countries.
