Khalifa receives more cables of condolences
ABU DHABI -President High Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received more cables of condolences from heads of state on the death of Shaikh Nasser bin Zayed.
The President received cables from His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah of Kuwait, Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria, Zine El Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia, King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Sidi Mohammed Ould El Shaikh Ahmed of Mauritania, Isias Afwerki of Eritrea, Abdullah Gul of Turkey and Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan.
Shaikh Khalifa also received cables from Shaikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jaber Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Shaikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah Al Salim Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait.
Meanwhile, High Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai received cables from Salva Kiir Mayardit, Sudanese First Vice President and President of the Government of Southern Sudan and also from Ali Osman Mohammed Taha, Sudanese Vice President.
General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received a cable from Sudanese Defence Minister Abdul Rahim Mohammed Hussein.
