Khalifa receives ambassadors’ credentials

ABU DHABI — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received the credentials of five new ambassadors to the UAE here yesterday.

The ambassadors are Gao Yu Sheng of China, Mohammed Al Sdeiri of Tunisia, Humaid Ridha Asfi of Iran, Mohammed bin Hamad Al Ma’awda of Bahrain and George Costoulas of Greece.

Shaikh Khalifa welcomed the new ambassadors and wished them success in their assignments for promoting relations between their respective countries and the UAE.

On their part, the ambassadors expressed their happiness on representing their countries in the UAE. The meeting was attended by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister.
