Khalifa orders settlement of Marriage Fund arrears
ABU DHABI —The Marriage Fund beneficiaries — who have not received their full grants — will be paid all their arrears with immediate effect.
This order was passed by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Shaikh Khalifa also ordered that the marriage fund grant of Dh70,000 per beneficiary must remain so without change. He directed the approval of Dh682 million as payments for 14,049 UAE nationals — beneficiaries of the fund.
This amount includes disbursing a total amount of Dh455 million to 6,499 UAE nationals, who are to receive full payment of the grant and 7,550 nationals who are to receive a partial payment of the grant totalling Dh227 million.
