Khalifa gets condolence cables on Maitha’s death
The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has received a condolence cable from His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, and His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, on the death of Shaikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan.
The Amir of Kuwait expressed his profound sorrow and solace on the demise of Shaikha Maitha to the bereaved family. May Almighty Allah rest her soul in peace.
He also received similar cables from Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Kuwaiti Crown Prince; Shaikh Jaber Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, Kuwaiti Prime Minister; Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Amir and Crown Prince of Qatar; Shaikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, Qatari Prime Minister and Qatari Foreign Minister; Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the demise of Shaikha Maitha.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also received similar cables from the Crown Prince of Bahrain.
His Highness Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, sent a cable to Shaikh Khalifa from London mouring the death Shaikha Maitha.
General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed; Shaikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region; and Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, other Shaikhs and ministers offered funeral prayers for Shaikha Maitha in Al Ain on Tuesday. —
