Khalifa Foundation to meet deportation costs of 121

On the occasion of Eid Al Adha, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KF) has pledged to pay the deportation costs of 121 prisoners who had served their jail terms at the UAE’s correctional and punitive establishments, but are unable to pay the return tickets to their home countries.

An official source hailed the existing permanent co-ordination between the KF and the Ministry of Interior to help the under-privileged segments irrespective of their colour, ethnicity and religion. Beneficiaries thanked the foundation for the move, which they deem “speeds up their return to their home countries”.
